Moonlight illuminates tasty blue hills: In New York, a shelter I approached at sunset was full, so I continued on up the mountain in the dusk to set up camp on top of some large smooth rocks that were surrounded by low bushes under an open, clear sky. While the rock was a hard sleeping surface, I discovered gleefully, under a rising full moon, that the surrounding bushes were loaded with blueberries. I slept well knowing I would have a delicious addition to my breakfast oatmeal the next morning.
