Hiking context including Mileage, States, Dates, and Elevation Profile are letterpress printed on reverse of the print, as well as this inspiration story:
Critters cross as if falling from the sky, watch your step: After every spring rain, it was critter-crossing time. Bright orange-red newts, black and orange centipedes, tubular millipedes, moths, spiders, slugs and multitudes of snails all converged on the pathway for a drink. The crowded trail called for extra mindful footsteps, dodging the slimy and biting critters while picking up and moving the newts, millipedes and snails to safety. Seeing this many critters on the little strip of trail made me wonder just how many exist in the vast woods around me
